In addition to his coaching experience, Barbaree is an accomplished educator and leader. After
working as a Physical Education Teacher for two years, Barbaree made the transition to school administration as Dean of Students and Principal. He is currently the Assistant Principal at the all-new Jacksonville Elementary School.

From Coach Barbaree:

As an educator for almost twenty years, ten of those years were spent leading young men on the athletic field as their head football coach. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity once more as the Jacksonville Head Football Coach. There is great potential for Jacksonville football. It is my goal to build positive relationships, cultivate a culture of trust and commitment, and develop athletes. Our football program will be something all will be proud of; a team that has positive attitudes, dedication to each other, academic success, community involvement, and growth. Because I believe it is my calling to impact students’ lives, my focus will be character development in order for our student athletes to thrive in school and life thereafter. I am elated to be named head Titan! Titan Up!

From Athletic Director Scott Waymire:

JNPSD is excited about the hiring of Coach Barbaree. Coach Barbaree brings
the enthusiasm and work ethic needed for Titan success. His experience
and knowledge will not only help the football program be successful,
but most importantly will help develop our student-athletes' success
off the field as well.
