Dear JNPSD Employees and Parents,
The Great North American Eclipse is taking place on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Due to the safety concerns surrounding this major event (heavy traffic congestion), some Arkansas school districts, including JNPSD , have decided to close school on that day.
To break it down:
District employees and scholars will not report to work or school on Monday, April 8, 2024.
To make up for that missed day, all JNPSD schools / offices / departments will be in session on Friday, March 15, 2024, a date originally scheduled for Spring Break.
