The severe weather forecast has been extended for the morning of Wednesday, April 5. Therefore, JNPSD has decided to change to an AMI Day today for all scholars in grades PreK-12. District leaders will continue to monitor the weather situation and will notify parents immediately if any other changes are made.
Due to the threat of severe weather moving into the Central Arkansas area on Tuesday evening / Wednesday morning, all JNPSD schools and offices will have a 2 ½ hour delayed start time on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
JNPSD families who have been impacted by the tornado can visit our Parent Centers to utilize phone and internet services. The Parent Centers are available at all JNPSD schools and the Pinewood Professional Development Center. Please call ahead to set up an appointment.
All JNPSD schools will be open on Monday, April 3, 2023. We will resume normal operations at school campuses, departments and the Central Office. Most school buses will run their normal routes. Some routes may be modified due to street closures throughout the city. Bus delays are also possible.
