Families with young readers are invited to take advantage of a free opportunity designed to strengthen literacy skills and support student success.
AR Kids Read is offering free Community Literacy Workshops for families with children in 1st through 3rd grade.
The workshops will provide practical literacy strategies families can use at home, tips for enhancing reading time, information on understanding school scores and ways to advocate for young readers.
As an added bonus, each family attending a workshop can receive up to four free Arkansas Travelers game tickets for July 26, while supplies last.
