The graduation season is upon us! JHS administrators would like to remind parents and graduates about the following events scheduled for this month:
Senior Checkout: May 8 and 9 from 9 am - 12 pm in the Titan Auditorium Lobby. All seniors must stop by to confirm graduate status, turn in Chromebooks, and pick up cap & gown.
Senior Breakfast: Friday, May 10 at 9:00 am in the JHS cafeteria. Families must have filled out the form and purchased their tickets beforehand. Guest tickets are $5. https://bit.ly/class2024seniorbreakfast
Senior Prom: Friday, May 10 at 7:30 pm in the Jacksonville Community Center. Tickets are $25 for a single and $40 for a couple. The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, May 9 at noon. Scholars can purchase tickets from Ms. Mimms. Scholars who wish to bring a guest to prom must complete and return a permission slip. Click on the link to print the form. https://5il.co/1tvum
Elementary Walk & Senior Lunch: Wednesday, May 15. Seniors will walk the hallways of JNPSD elementary schools on the morning of the 15th. Parents/guardians must fill out a permission slip because the event is considered a "field trip." Click on the link to print the form.https://5il.co/1tvv5. The Deadline to return is May 14
Graduation Practice: Friday, May 17 at 9:00 am at Titan Stadium. Seniors must attend practice to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Class of 2023 JHS Graduation Ceremony: Saturday, May 18 at 9:00 am at Titan Stadium. Graduates are required to be in the JHS cafeteria by 8:15 am to get in line for the procession. A graduate must be in the cafeteria on time to take part in graduation.
Graduation attire for graduates
Males: White shirt, Black Tie, Dark Slacks, Dark Shoes, No Tennis shoes
Females: No Necklaces, Dress/Skorts, should be shorter than the gown, dark shoes, no tennis shoes-, heels can be challenging to walk; if you choose to wear pants they should be dark pants and dark shoes.

Failure to comply with the dress code could lead to non-participation in the graduation ceremony
