Administrators at the Titan Learning Academy would like to say thank you to Second Baptist Church and Bethel Assembly of God.
The 2022-23 school year offered a change for Titan Learning Academy with a new administration, new staff, and a facelift of the outside of the building. An excitement and energy circulated the staff and scholars as they began a new year with goals and expectations of student success.
Two community organizations in Jacksonville adopted the school and have been a tremendous support, champion, and cheerleader for everyone on our campus. We would like to take a moment to publicly recognize and give many thanks to Second Baptist Church, and Bethel Assembly of God. These two organizations have provided so much extra support for our scholars and staff.
The Second Baptist Church Senior Adult program has donated food weekly for a food bank in our building. Each week they restocked and supplied food for our scholars in need. They have bought merchandise with the name and logo to provide a pride of who we are: hoodies, t-shirts, cups, and pens labeled “Titan Academy.” During Christmas the group bought gifts for some of our children, and prepared a luncheon for our scholars and staff. They also bought gifts for our single parent group. They are always available and willing to do what they can to help our students achieve their goals. We are greatly appreciative of all they have done.
Bethel Assembly of God is also a champion for our scholars. This year they have served as mentors to our high school students, purchased all of the caps and gowns for our graduating seniors, and provided a baby shower for our single parents. Mr. Cary and Mrs. LeeAnn Rosenbaum have been instrumental in providing support, encouragement, and resources to help our students and staff.
It has been stated that it takes a village to raise a child, and at Titan Academy this village has dedicated teachers, staff, and community members to prepare our scholars with the resources they need to be successful! We have been extremely fortunate to have these wonderful community organizations come alongside and create a foundation for our students. We look forward to partnering with them in 2023-24 for more success stories!
