The Windgate Scholarship is based on talent and financial need and can be worth up to $2,000 per semester in the freshman year, based on amount of financial need. The scholarship is renewable and can increase up to $1,000 each year. In the senior year, up to $5,000 per semester can potentially be awarded. Two such scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen for the 2021-2022 academic year.
To be eligible for the Scholarship, students must do the following:
· Complete on-line submission of an FAFSA form by the deadline indicated in the Application. Instructions for accessing the form are provided in the Application;
· Return a completed Application, along with the requested materials, via United States Mail, to my office by the deadline shown in the Application;
· Plan to declare Art as their major emphasis of study; and,
· Attend the University of Central Arkansas in the fall 2021 semester.
