Valentine’s Day Learning Fun: Scholars in Mrs. Gates’ 7th Grade ELA class had ELA Rotation Stations which incorporated the following: reading “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton, character trait studies, conducting 1960s research, social emotional learning activities, & of course enjoying some candy.






Introduction to Business and Marketing 8th grade class did a Super Bowl Commercial Analysis - students watched Super Bowl LVIII commercials, critiqued and rated each ad based off what they have learned about the 4 Ps of Marketing.

Miss Henley's class worked on developing algorithms for hopscotch and a treasure map. What a creative way to learn computer skills without even using a computer!

JMS Families: Report cards will be sent home with all scholars today, Tuesday, January 9.

Join us for the JNPSD STEAM Fair on January 23 from 5-7pm at Jacksonville Middle School. The address is 2300 Linda Lane. This is a districtwide event for scholars in grades K-12. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our students of the month for November 2023!


The Way Sunday School class at Central Baptist Church NLR donated stockings for all of our science teacher Ms. Smith's scholars. Inside each student received a stocking cap, lip balm, drink packets, hair tie, peanut butter crackers, juice, fruit roll up, granola bar, and mac and cheese. Thank you so much to this organization for spreading holiday cheer to Ms. Smith's scholars!




The JMS holiday play, Sara Finds Christmas, is coming December 18 and 19. Tickets are $2. See flyer below for more information.


This week we would love for you to join us to see the work of some of our scholars. Tuesday, December 12 from 5PM to 6:30PM you can come learn about how different cultures celebrate many holidays around the world. Our scholars have worked hard and are eager to share what they have learned with you. We hope to see you there!
