Hello, JMS Families! Here is our JMS Counselor Newsletter for October! Check it out for important dates and tips from our Counseling Department.

JMS Families, if you have not filled out the Free and Reduced Meal Application for your student yet, please do so as soon as possible. We need every student to have one filled out to ensure each one receives all the resources that they deserve. Thank you in advance for you help with this!

Good afternoon, JMS families. Our building policy for the new state law Bell to Bell No Cell will be as follows. Scholars will not have cell phones on or visible at any point from the time they enter the building for school until the last bell at the end of the day. This includes not having them out during breakfast. Cell phones should be stored in scholar backpacks.
If a scholar does not have a backpack, they will be expected to turn in their cell phone at the start of each class period to their teacher. Each teacher throughout the day will place the phone in a designated, out-of-sight location (not visible to students or visitors) and return it at the end of the period. If a scholar does not keep their phone put away, and we see the phone out it will be taken immediately and turned in to the scholar's assistant principal. The phone will be available for pick up in the front office. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. See you Monday!

More students who choose to "Have character and be drug free!"

JMS ended our Red Ribbon Week by "Showing our character. Determined to be drug free!" We showed our "character" by dressing as superheroes and characters.
