This is a reminder that there will be no school for K-12 scholars on Friday, April 24 due to a Curriculum Planning Day. Pre-K scholars will attend school as normal.

Reminder: Tomorrow is the Reading Test for Grades 3–5.
Please make sure your child arrives on time, stays all day, and is well-rested with a good breakfast. Encourage them to take their time and do their best! 📚
Incentives: Students who follow the testing rubric will earn a treat each day. Students who show growth or score a level 3 or 4 in any area will be invited to a celebration party after testing concludes! 🎉

Here is the 2026-2027 Pre-K Parent District Calendar. The first day of school will be Thurs. Aug. 13, 2026. The last day of school will be Thurs. May 27, 2027. We have three great preschool programs at Adkins Pre-K, Bayou Meto Elementary and Lester Elementary. Registration for the fall will open on Monday, Feb. 16.
