Here is the 2026-2027 Pre-K Parent District Calendar. The first day of school will be Thurs. Aug. 13, 2026. The last day of school will be Thurs. May 27, 2027. We have three great preschool programs at Adkins Pre-K, Bayou Meto Elementary and Lester Elementary. Registration for the fall will open on Monday, Feb. 16. Due to winter weather, the STEAM Academy Parent Information Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 17, 5:00–6:00 PM at JMS Cafeteria. This meeting is for current 5th grade scholars and families to learn about the JMS STEAM Academy for next school year.

Hello Titan Family: 3-5 Mid Year Testing is occurring the January 12-16. Tests will take place from 8:00-10:30. Scholars need to be on time to eat breakfast, and get settled so they can start on time. Please hold checkouts until after these times so scholars can complete tests. Please encourage your scholars to do their best!
