School Based Services

Families, Inc. Counseling Services is one of the leading group counseling practices in Arkansas and home to a team of highly respected mental health professionals. Families, Inc. was established in 2000 by licensed professional counselor, Joy Davis. Since that time, we have been providing high quality, focused, professional services to individuals and families throughout the northeast, north central and central parts of the state.

The purpose of school-based mental health services is to ensure that children with emotional and/or behavioral disorders are provided needed mental health services in a safe, familiar, and nurturing environment while enhancing and improving their academic experiences. Families, Inc. provides the following services to assist school districts in accomplishing not only academic goals, but also to help shape the students’ social knowledge, beliefs, and behaviors. Through this agency/school collaboration, it is the goal of Families, Inc. that all children will have access to the tools that they need to grow into healthy, independent, and productive members of society.
