AMI Days/Inclement Weather
As a result of the extension of AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) Days for schools in the state of Arkansas, the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is working to ensure that a high quality education continues for all students. Starting Monday, April 6, all students in K-12 need access to a technology device and the Internet. All students in K-12 will be expected to have daily online interaction with teachers. All 6-12 scholars already have a chromebook issued to them and K-5 scholars may pick up their devices the week of April 3rd. If your family does not already have access to the internet, please click here for information on how to obtain free internet options. Find details below for AMI information by grade.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade Students
Students will interact with teachers via daily online sessions in Google Classroom. Please make sure you are also communicating with your teachers via email. Schools have created paper curriculum packets for parents who prefer using this method.
6th - 12th Grade Students
Please access your Google Classroom(s) for clear directions and expectations from each of your teachers. Follow all instructions provided and submit completed work through your Google Classroom(s). Teachers will be available for students Monday through Friday from 9am-11am and from 1pm-3pm. Any students enrolled in digital courses, please continue coursework as normal. High school students are being contacted individually by school Counselors to ensure that all requirements are being met for coursework and credit.
