Welcome to Bobby G Lester Elementary School! I am excited and honored to be the new principal. We are “Wild About Learning”. It is our mission to help each scholar, grow, explore and succeed. It will be an exciting year of learning and new adventures. Our staff is a dedicated team of educators who sees the unique talents and limitless potential of each scholar.

We will strive to create an inclusive space where all can grow intellectually, socially and emotionally.

As we get ready to begin the 2026-2027 school year, our staff will encourage all scholars to embrace their curiosity and creativity and to keep striving to learn each and every day. Bobby G Lester provides a rigorous academic environment using High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), paired with research based best practice A.V.I.D. strategies to increase student engagement and to help each scholar advocate for their own learning.

There are also opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities (the arts, athletics, clubs and community service).

Bobby G Lester’s staff is committed to fostering a culture where kindness, respect and collaboration are the norm. Strong partnerships between parents, teachers, scholars and the community are essential to creating a dynamic learning community that builds resilience and prepares our learners for their future opportunities.
